1. Who these terms are with

These terms are an agreement between you ("client", "you") and Lorixen, an independent HVAC website studio operating from Dallas, Texas, United States ("Lorixen", "we", "us", "our"). By using this website or engaging us for work, you agree to them.

2. The free homepage redesign concept

We offer a free homepage redesign concept to small US HVAC contractors who request one. Here's exactly what that includes and excludes:

• What you get — a homepage redesign concept, delivered as a screenshot and a live preview link, within 24 hours of receiving your current site URL.
• What it costs — nothing. There is no obligation to engage us afterward.
• What it isn't — a finished, production-ready website. The concept demonstrates direction; turning it into a live site is a paid engagement.
• Use of the concept — until a paid engagement begins, the concept artwork, layout, code and copy remain the intellectual property of Lorixen. You may share the preview internally to make a decision; you may not use it as your live website without engaging us.

3. Paid engagements

If you decide to move forward, we will send a short written scope and quote covering price, timeline, deliverables, and any third-party costs (hosting, domains, plugins). Work starts only when you reply confirming you want to proceed. Specific terms in that written scope override anything inconsistent on this page for that engagement.

4. What we do not promise

We design websites and lead-capture systems based on patterns we have seen perform well for HVAC contractors. We do not, and cannot, guarantee specific business outcomes — number of calls, leads, jobs booked, or revenue. Results depend on factors outside the website, including your service area, pricing, reviews, and how you handle incoming calls.

5. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate information about your business when requesting a concept.
• Hold the rights to any logo, photos, copy or other content you send us.
• Respond within a reasonable time during an engagement so the project does not stall.
• Keep payment of any agreed invoices on time.

6. Acceptable use of this site

You may browse, read, and share lorixen.com freely. You may not:

• Copy substantial portions of the site copy, layout, or code for a competing service.
• Use scripts to scrape, mirror, or republish the site.
• Attempt to break, disable, or interfere with the site's hosting or security.

7. Intellectual property

The Lorixen name, mark, site copy, design, and the homepage redesign concepts we share are the property of Lorixen and protected by copyright and trademark law. Once a paid engagement is delivered and paid for, you receive a royalty-free, perpetual license to use the delivered website for your own HVAC business. We retain the right to feature the work in our portfolio and case studies.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lorixen is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website, the homepage redesign concept, or any paid engagement. Our total liability for any single matter is capped at the amount you have paid us in the previous twelve months, or one hundred US dollars, whichever is greater.

9. Termination

You can stop using this site at any time. We can decline a project, end an engagement for non-payment, or remove access to the site for users who break section 6. If a paid engagement ends early, payment for work already delivered remains due.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by good-faith conversation will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas.

11. Changes to these terms

If we update these terms, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top. For active clients, material changes will also be sent by email. Continued use of the site or services after a change means you accept the new version.
